Raththane is a village which is west part of the Alawathugoda village and it considering as a another village in villages under Sri Wijayawardanaramaya of Alawathugoda. In Earlier era, Raththane was main part of Alawathugoda. But after globalization happens people arrives closed to main road.  There are 20 families lives in Raththne village. Thve own sub culture, Own society and own humunity them selves. There is a ancient BO tree at Raththane village.
